MuniConnect
DUX Software was approached to adapt an existing platform to aggregate property data because cities and counties were lacking an effective way to transmit bulk public record property data to third parties. When the project started, nearly 80% of the data in the platform was loaded manually with a .CSV or keyed in by hand. The platform did not have an API and it was difficult to connect it with one. DUX was charged with automating .CSV file uploads, consuming property data from legacy government systems, and rebuilding the existing database. They were able to meet the customer's expectations and fix some known issues with the platform. After completing the project, DUX was retained to rebuild the user interface and create a fully integrated property registration module for the platform.
Tax Deed Title Pro
DUX Software was able to rescue and improve a tax collector property reporting platform for a national company. The company's previous vendor had paused development due to the loss of their lead analyst and a developer. Our team was able to quickly understand the project requirements and identify areas for improvement. We improved the user interface and seamlessly integrated multiple platforms. We also built out a compliance element which forced users to complete all required data entry before compiling reports. This resulted in cost and time savings for the company. VIALOK
The "VIALOK" project was a multi-factor authentication mobile application that was adapted for use on desktop and laptop computers. The scope of the project was challenging, as it involved building the application for two of the most popular operating systems in the US and ensuring that the desktop and laptop application had similar functionality to the mobile app. DUX Software's team was able to successfully complete the project and even added an additional functionality that allowed for grouping of devices (laptop, desktop, and mobile) for enhanced security. If one device in a group was compromised, all devices associated with the group would be locked down, providing an extra layer of security. This project demonstrates DUX Software's ability to successfully adapt and improve upon existing applications to meet the needs of our clients.
AgentCE
DUX Software was contacted by the largest provider of online continuing education for title agents in Florida. This provider was using an open source learning management system which had not been updated in over seven years. Our job was to evaluate whether the company should continue with the current platform or invest in a new platform. The company had a small budget for upgrades and specific regulatory requirements it needed to address. After careful consideration we recommended staying on the existing platform. We wrote code to augment the platform to comport with regulatory requirements, built in a reminder system for the admin to regularly check for and update the platform. Additionally we added credit card acceptance and a more robust reporting module. All of this was done in addition to numerous bug fixes.
TFGCLOSE (Real Estate Closing Software)
DUX was engaged to provide end-to-end development services on TFG's flagship software platform, TFGCLOSE. This comprehensive solution streamlines and automates the process of located and engaging mobile notaries to facilitate real estate transactions nationwide. The system manages the entire order workflow and integrates external services such as payments and customer interactions, ensuring a seamless experience for users. Additionally, the system allows for notaries to be ranked based on their levels of service, which enabled the platform to prioritize the best performing notaries for new projects.
HARVEST (Automobile Information Data)
A large private DMV reached out to us about augmenting their development team to create a platform to capture and aggregate information on registered vehicles to enable a completely online vehicle transfer and registration process. Within a two months of starting the project DUX took over and completed the project. The company further negotiated for DUX to continue to develop the platform and build the mobile application.
